In my paper collages I try to not think about what I am doing and solely focus on shape and colour.
I try to challenge myself by creating compositions or combinations that are slightly off, which usually leads to more interesting images.
After I finish a collage, I name it after the first thing that pops into my head when looking at it.
Therefore, the story behind it is made by chance rather than intent.
And that’s what I like so much about them; even I, the creator, don’t know the story until it is finished.
